Position Overview: Bilingual Tax Collector

Ultimate Staffing Services is seeking three highly motivated Bilingual Tax Collectors to join a dynamic team in Texas. The role is focused on collecting delinquent property taxes on personal and business accounts. This is a full-time, temp-to-hire position, located 100% onsite at 4828 Loop Central Drive, Suite 600, Houston, TX 77081.

Responsibilities:

The Bilingual Tax Collector is responsible for managing both inbound and outbound calls to set arrangements for debt payment or establish debt payment schedules. The role involves maintaining accurate records of all collection activities, ensuring all customer interactions align with company standards and policies. A detailed job description is available, outlining the tasks the Collector will perform.

This individual must be bilingual in English and Spanish. While specific collections experience is not required, a background in customer service is necessary. The role includes:

  • Handling a high volume of inbound telephone calls and emails
  • Administering benefits and open enrollment
  • Supporting all onboarding functions
  • Ensuring a positive HR experience with every employee
  • Addressing issues for employees as they arise with a positive and supportive approach
  • Assisting with internal and external job movement, including preparation of job postings and new hire packets
  • Updating and maintaining job descriptions
  • Assisting with employee relations, including gathering data and assisting with investigations
  • Developing and implementing HR best practices
  • Directing FMLA, ADA, and disability workers' compensation inquiries
  • Assisting with inquiries related to benefits, retirement, and compensation, and routing inbound questions to appropriate resources
  • Supporting additional HR duties as assigned by supervisor

Work Hours:

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Salary:

$33,280 annually / $16 hourly rate
